Hello!

I’m MJ Aristegui - a certified equestrian bodyworker with a holistic approach. My work is about honoring the horse and their movement, comfort, and connection through gentle, intuitive, and anatomically informed care. Whether your horse is training, recovering, or just needing a reset, bodywork will benefit their wholistic health.

WHY CHOOSE BODYWORK?

Bodywork helps horses feel and perform their best by relieving tension, improving circulation, supporting recovery, and restoring balance. It’s not just for injured or high-performance horses—every horse benefits from being seen, heard, and supported in their body.

What sets my approach apart is the intention behind every session. I combine knowledge  of anatomy with a deep and intuitive connection to each horse’s unique needs. I don’t just  treat symptoms — I listen to the whole horse.

My holistic work respects their physical,  emotional, and energetic health – creating a lasting difference.

Let’s give your horse the care they deserve.

What is Myofascial Release—and How It Works Holistically?

Myofascial release is a gentle, hands-on technique that targets the fascia - the web of  connective tissue that surrounds muscles, organs, and joints.

When fascia becomes tight  or restricted, it can cause pain, limit movement, and affect a horse’s overall well-being. By slowly releasing these restrictions, we help the horse regain mobility, comfort, and  balance.

In my holistic approach, I don’t just focus on isolated areas of tension - I look at the  complete horse. Every session considers the physical and the emotional - creating space for your horse to release what they no longer need and return to a state of ease.

This combination supports deep, lasting changes - not just in the body, but in her mind and  spirit too.

What to Expect in a Session?

Your horse’s first session begins with a conversation. I’ll ask about their history, lifestyle, and any physical or behavioral concerns.

I will also want to know what you’ve been noticing  under saddle or on the ground. Then I’ll observe your horse in motion with a gait analysis — watching their walk and trot in-hand to assess posture, movement patterns, and any asymmetries.

From there, I’ll do a full-body assessment - feeling for areas of tension, restriction, and  imbalance. The session includes gentle, hands-on bodywork tailored to your horse’s  unique needs and responses.

This first session is also about connection. I take the time to build trust and allow your  horse to feel safe, heard, and supported. Every session is done at their pace, with intention  and care.
